I love the pose of the whale shark, he looks so curious XD
And theres actually a tank that can hold a whale shark and give it enough food to live? O.o good grief. I need to see this aquarium.
This is wonderful, I really thought it was a photograph. I love the shading, it seems very 3-D. The spots on its body are also really nice. What a cute and lovely creature. You also did a very nice job at the water and the light going through it.
I did reference a couple of the photos I took while at the aquarium, for anatomy and coloration more than anything. The background is kind of messy, I didn't want to make it too detailed and take the focus off the shark...
Still can't believe a year has nearly gone by since I did this painting... XD
